Muskegon "Host" Lions Club

Founded in 1919

 

Mission Statement

To serve the visually and hearing impaired residents of our community.

 

Meeting Information

Where: Muskegon Masonic Temple, 396 W. Clay Ave. Muskegon MI 

When: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. 

* Luncheon meal is part of meeting. 
Meeting concludes by 1:30 p.m.

 Club meetings are open to the public.

 

Statewide Projects

Support all State and District projects.

 

Local Projects

Sponsor a summer camp for blind adults. 
Invite blind residents to annual Christmas luncheon. 
Collect used eye glasses for recycling.

 

Fund Raisers

Provide several pancake breakfast during the year. 
Participate in White Cane, Candy Day, Rose Day and mint sales program.

 

Donate your old Eyeglasses

Masonic Temple, 396 W. Clay Ave.

 

Ms. Michigan Luncheon
Luncheon for Ms. Michigan Contestants at Masonic Temple.

Pancake Breakfast
Pancake breakfast to support the United Way Day of Caring.
Even rain couldn’t stop the cook, 400 volunteers or President Gordon Peterman.

Food Distribution
This year we provided 10,000 pounds of food for the needy.
