In 2005, the Muskegon Northside Lions Charities started a fund raiser utilizing both a raffle calendar and member donations to support Campaign SightFirst II. The pledge time frame was 2005 to 2010 and generated $50,000.00. Club member donations accounted for another $34,000 for a total of $84,000.

At a meeting in Oak Brook, Illinois on January 14, 2010, Past International Director Dennis Cobler, president of the Muskegon Northside Lions Charities, had the opportunity to present the final $10,000 payment of the $50,000 pledge to Immediate Past International President and Chairman of Lions Clubs International Foundation, Al Brandel.
